Off the Map, ABC’s doctors in the jungle drama, has been cancelled, several Los Angeles sources said. ABC will make the announcement tomorrow…The hour-long show was plagued by low ratings…The show had a local crew of about 80….ABC still has the lease on the Hawaii Film Studio until July where production trucks and actors’ trailer remain parked…Another ABC show  called The RIver is being considered for Hawaii but no decision has been made. Several actors already have been hired to star in The River...The serie’s pilot was filmed in Puerto Rico which is reportedly working hard to land the series with additional financial incentives…

 

 

Meanwhile, CBS is likely to announce tomorrow that its hit series Hawaii Five-0 has been renewed for a second season which has been a foregone conclusion for a couple of months. Crew will begin working in June with filming starting July 11…

 

 

 

An A&E dramedy series called Tropical Fox is set in Hawaii but has not yet been greenlit. If it i it will begin shooting on Oahu this summer…The story is about a brilliant British detective who goes rogue to track a wanted criminal in Hawaii and ends up forming an unlikely partnership  with a local cop “on the sleepy side of Oahu” to aid the Honolulu Police Department…
