As recently reported on Reel Hawaii, singer/actor Carrie Underwood will have a co starring role in Soul Surfer which begins filming Monday on Oahu’s North Shore, production sources confirmed…Underwood will only be filming here three days because she goes on tour March 11…Underwood plays a youth pastor named Sarah in Bethany Hamilton‘s church and she helps Hamilton after the horrendous shark attack in a sort of a counseling way, according to the script…



Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt also have been signed to play Hamilton’s parents…

    I know you never respond to me ??? But do you know when Carrie Underwood is filming ??? What days , because you say filming starts on Monday but on the Top you say filming starts on Feb 2 ???

    Thanks for letting us know about this and you made a mistake on Carrie touring date Carrie starts touring on the 11th of March not the 1st of March :)

    World renown big wave surfer and champion windsurfer Rush Randle, has been cast as dennis Quaids stunt double.
    Rush grew up at Backyards on the North Shore.Second unit stunt coordinator Gregg Barnett has worked with Rush in the past on Beyond the break and baywatch.
