  The state legislature and the Gov. Lingle administration have said they intend to limit or repeal Act 221/215, especially as it related to television and film productions. All four of the television and theatrical projects filmed in Hawaii with the exception of ABC’s Lost have utilized Act 221/215.     Cameron Crowe’s quirky Hawaii-based dramedy Deep Tiki has been delayed with no new production date announced. The big budget film starring Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon had been rumored to start filming on Oahu this month and likely shooting on the Big Island as well for a volcano scene.
